Special Note: If the dryer timer advances in the timed dry cycle but not the automatic moisture sensing cycle, the problem could be the moisture sensing control board. If you replace the moisture sensing control board and the timer still won't advance in the moisture sensing cycle, replace timer.

Timer controls the electrical components and the duration of the dryer cycles.
