This heat probe (part number W11399989) is for refrigerators/freezers.

Heat probe is used to measure the temperature of the defrost heater and sends this information to the electronic control board.  This prevents the defrost heater from become so hot that it damages the condenser assembly.

Unplug the refrigerator prior to starting this repair; allow the freezer compartment to defrost to ensure that the probe is properly placed.
